Industrial Automation Parts Buying Guide
Finding a replacement industrial automation part starts with the exact part number. Use this checklist before requesting a quote for a PLC module, industrial power supply or other control component from 360ODER.
1. Copy the complete part number
Send the manufacturer, full model number and every suffix shown on the label. Include the series, hardware revision and firmware version when available. Keep hyphens and leading zeros. A similar-looking model is not enough to establish compatibility.
Photograph the nameplate, front, connectors and any damaged area. If the part is installed, use existing records or safely accessible labels; ask a qualified technician to handle any inspection that requires access to equipment.
2. Describe the replacement you need
- PLCs and modules: identify the controller family, rack or base and the exact module being replaced. Ask your engineer or the manufacturer to confirm whether a different revision is suitable.
- Power supplies: provide the input and output ratings shown on the label, connection details and mounting requirements. Do not select a replacement from appearance alone.
- Other components: provide the original model and the machine or system reference. Tell us whether only an exact replacement is acceptable.

3. Confirm condition and what is included
Specify whether you need new, used or either condition. Before ordering, request current photos and ask about packaging, visible wear, test information and included connectors or accessories. A product photo or a condition label alone does not confirm every item included in the shipment.
Ask for the warranty and return terms that apply to the quoted item. Do not assume a manufacturer warranty or a particular test procedure is included unless it is confirmed in writing.
4. Request a complete quotation
Include the quantity, destination country and postal code, and your required delivery date. Ask us to confirm current availability, dispatch time, freight charges and the terms of the quotation. Distinguish the dispatch date from the expected arrival date.
